We had a fantastic time at Star Rest Beach. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was ideal, just a stone's throw away from the beautiful beach. We were thrilled with the delicious food offered at the hotel's restaurant, both local Sri Lankan dishes and European favorites. The staff, especially Abdull, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, offering various services like laundry, safari, taxi. Their kindness and hospitality made us feel right at home. I would highly recommend Star Rest Beach for a memorable stay in Arugam Bay.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, always available to help you. the room was clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed. the breakfast options were varied and tasted good. the location was convenient and close to everything I needed.

The hotel atmosphere was very noisy, and I could not get a good night sleep. the air conditioner was not working properly, forcing me to keep the fan on all night, which was ineffective and made me feel hot and uncomfortable.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Spent my Christmas here, and it was fabulous! Loved the amazing location, so close to the beach and easy access to great restaurants and bars. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the delicious breakfast in the morning, cooked with fresh ingredients, and the wifi connection was reliable and fast. On Christmas day, they had a festive dinner with traditional food and live music that was fantastic!

The lockout policy at night was a bit of a hassle. I had to make sure to return to the hotel before 11 pm, or I would be locked out without any access to food or drinks.
